Maintenance Surveyor
As a Maintenance Surveyor your duties will include:
Building Maintenance
- Carry out inspections and surveys and assess requirements
- Ensure Health and Safety and statutory and local authority regulations are met
- Produce appropriate documentation for works specifications
- Monitor maintenance contract performance
- Liaise with other departments to ensure maintenance work is carried out promptly
- Provide appropriate advice on stock-related issues
- Develop and maintain detailed stock condition information Economic Viability -
- Maintain the economic viability of services
- Assist with budget control
- Produce high quality documents documentation and manage the tendering process in accordance with policies
- Manage within agreed financial limits and in accordance with the organisations financial policies and procedures
- Produce meaningful reports on specific maintenance problems and relevant issues
- Keep management informed of progress on current projects and highlight any areas of concern Resident Involvement -
- Promote meaningful resident involvement in specification and management of service delivery
- Liaise with customers effectively regarding the specification of works required
- Ensure that a proactive/positive approach is adopted in response to residents complaints
- Ensure maintenance services are accessible and responsive to residents needs
- Promote resident involvement and feedback by active encouragement
