Based in Bristol we are looking for a strong IT business analyst to focus on requirements gathering ensuring they are the best fit with system(s) functionality. You will translate business requirements into detailed system requirements and then into functional specifications to ensure common understanding and quality of deliverables by consultation and review. Working within a software and applications environment you will be able to work on your own with minimal supervision and posses excellent communication skills across the business. Working with a variety of stakeholders you will continuously review experience, capture the learning points and make recommendations for process improvement. The suitable person will posses relevant and previous IT business (not systems) analysis experience supported by ISEB qualification or IS related degree. Knowledge of development lifecycles and experience of initial stages of lifecycles (e.g. high level requirements / functional design) with the ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and communicate in business language. Experience of working with business customers and technical delivery resources (including 3rd party suppliers)
