So lets break this down.

Who I am...

Name is Matt and I am a professional multi-instrumentalist! I am a rhythm and blues guitar player, Percussionist (Congas, Djembe.. Ectera), Drummer, Beat Boxer, Keys and am a Soul/Blues Vocalist from South Africa.

I am a experienced sound engineer with my own well equipped home studio and have year round access to state of the art studios at UWE. By the end of this year you will have some extremely well produced and recorded toons to add to your artillery.

The "BIG" Idea

I want to have both a strong Acoustic and Live set to be able to play as many gigs as possible. Two reasons, $$ and Repetition = Tight and more exposure.

Groove! Its all about the groove. As there will be two vocalists at times we will have a lot of percussion inputs to build up grooves. A very good female friend of mine by the name of Lady J is the other talented singer with years of vocal coaching and gigging experience under her belt.

Also on board I have a amazing lead guitarist who is known in Bristol for playing with the angelic funk foundation!

I want the sets to be within signed artist standards. Meaning, sometimes playing to a click and having small amounts of backing atmospheres and effects.

Performances will be scientifically angled and executed at working crowds. Every musician will have their space for entertaining solos and eccentric creative expression.

I have a 6+- songs written and loads of lyrics written but I believe collaboration is key and I know all musicians in the band will mould the songs into their own, thus creating "OUR" very own sixXXxxy spicey and Funkadelic sounds. In the theme of Soul Funk Blues Hip Hop and Reggae.

There will be space for guest MC's to join us for added entertainment and diversity... Of which I know a couple talented ones!
