Head Chef £25000 Gastro Pub near Bristol

Our client is a newly refurbished village gastro pub near Keynsham currently seeking a Head Chef to take charge of the kitchen operation producing all dishes from fresh locally sourced ingredients.

Job Description

This is a busy gastro pub currently serving in excess of 60 covers a night. All food is prepared from fresh ingredients, using local suppliers.
The head chef will have full autonomy in the kitchen and the menus he prefer to work with.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate for the Head Chef position would be able to demonstrate the following:
* Ability and experience to run the entire kitchen operation
* Flexibility/ open minded approach
* Passion and drive for producing great food
* As the kitchen is very new, patience and forward thinking is needed in order to make it fully functional
* Experience in producing all from fresh

If you like to be left to your own devises, organising the kitchen in a way that you think would be more functional, then this position would completely suit you as there will not be any interference from any other parties.

Salary and Benefits

The starting salary for this role is £20000- £25000 depending on experience.
Unfortunately there is no live in accommodation, and you will need a car as the pub is located in the countryside.
