Recruitment Consultant

Location: Bristol
Salary: c.£25K basic, OTE £50K in the 1st year, £70K - £100K+ in 2nd year.


Our Client, a market-leading Recruitment Consultancy, focusing on niche recruitment, recruits Senior level IT and Finance specialists for high-profile companies. They have achieved a first-rate reputation within the recruitment industry by developing quality sales talent into Recruitment Consultants and they are now looking for the next generation of Consultants as they aggressively expand over the next two years. Successful candidates will have around 3 years direct sales experience; ideally within media sales or financial sales, but any non-retail sales arena will be considered.

As a Recruitment Consultant you will be responsible for high-level B2B sales, along with an element of headhunting. You will be selling and negotiating with Senior Managers and Directors building quality relations to ensure repeat business. Our Client prides itself on high performance levels providing effective recruitment to their Clients, exceeding their expectations; you will be expected to maintain these performance values through your personal business plan and consistent billings.

You will receive comprehensive recruitment training teaching you the area of your business, it is not necessary for you to have any prior knowledge of the IT or Finance industries for you to be a success in this role. Our client will support you throughout your career with the company and based upon your performance there is potential for promotion to Senior Consultant and Team Leader levels.

Unlike other sales dominated roles the recruitment industry offers basic salaries with high, achievable OTEs. Our Client currently offers the best sales talent up to £25K basic wage depending on experience with an expected 1st year OTE of £50K and £70K+ in the 2nd year. As a Company profile, 40% of its Recruitment Consultants with over 1yrs experience are currently earning £80K. Further incentives are also available including trips abroad e.g. to New York and Las Vegas; company car targets; tickets to sports events; and company lunches to Michelin starred restaurants.
