My client are a large blue chip organisation who work with Virtual Environments for their New Media systems, and the Systems Engineering Team are responsible for the design and implementation of infrastructure project solutions of a large media based system.

Excellent understanding of Windows based systems and hardware, VMware, SQL and storage solutions. Ideally someone who has experience of Virtual Systems or Data Centres would fit.
Good working knowledge of general hardware, software and networking infrastructures

Knowledge and Experience

This is a project based ‘hands on' technical role, so a highly skilled technical background will be required.

The individual must have the ability to work unsupervised and multitask whilst under pressure.

Demonstrable understanding of how servers, applications, storage solutions work in a Data centre/.com network environment.

• TCP/IP Networking.
• SQL Server
• Imaging Systems (Ghost etc)
• Dell hardware.
• Remote administration
• Performance monitoring.

• Networking (Cisco, F5)
• SAN/Storage Solutions

Qualifications

• Relevant Degree or Equivalent
• MCSE, relevant industry experience would be advantageous.
