Temporary to permanent
Full and part-time work
£16,840 to £28,000 pro rata
Relocating to Frome at the end of the year

Our client is looking for competent project workers to support its substance misuse services in Wells, Somerset. Your role will be to offer advice and information to service users, proactively meeting their needs and assisting the team leader in delivering a high quality service.
Responsibilities include:
·Providing advice and information to service users, their families and friends and professionals regarding their support
·Developing realistic support packages
·Managing a caseload of clients
·In residential services, ensuring service users take their medication on time assisting them where necessary
·Recognising indicators of substance misuse and making appropriate referrals
·Providing information and raising awareness about substances, their use and effects
Essential Criteria:
·Proven track record of working within the sector of substance misuse
·NVQ 3 or equivalent or willingness to work towards
·Demonstrable education and/or training in substance misuse
·Understanding of the issues faced by service users with mental health and/or dual diagnosis challenges
·Track record that demonstrates DANOS compliance
