Semi-Skilled Mechanical Fitters x 4

The Company:

Leading manufacturing company based in Clevedon, Bristol, specialising in vacuum and exhaust-management systems to the semi-conductor industry.

The Role:

Due to an increase in production demand, there is an urgent 2 month requirement for 4 additional semi-skilled Mechanical Fitters to join the team. The work will involve light assembly work, all equipment/tools will be provided. Main duties include:

Preparing pump frames (fitting sections, brackets etc)
Making/building sub assemblies (pneumatics, valves, pipe work, bending etc.)
Fitting pipe runs into frames (predominantly 1 1/4 inch, stainless)
Fitting heaters and insulation to pipe runs- preparing the pumps.

Hours of work will be based around 0800 - 1600 Monday to Friday, with overtime available on Saturday and Sunday. You will need to be flexible on start and finish times, there may also be a nightshift available.

The Successful Candidate:

Will have previous mechanical assembly / fitting experience, perhaps from an aerospace/automotive manufacturing background. No formal qualifications are required, but you must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of tools and processes.

The Benefits:

Hourly rate of £7.98 per hour + overtime paid at x1.33 (Weekdays/Saturdays) and x2 (Sundays), plus 26 days holiday entitlement pro-rata.
