We are looking for an experienced cook/chef with a passion and enthusiasm for organic local and seasonal produce, to lead and inspire the kitchen team.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and imagination.

You will be responsible for planning the menus with the café manager.

You will be responsible for delivering high quality food to a consistent standard.

You will work closely with your café manager/team leader, to manage payroll targets and stock levels.

You will be responsible for menu development, recipe development and new product development, in conjunction with your café manager and the general store manager.

You will be responsible for ensuring hygiene standards are met and that all paperwork is correctly filled in.

You will be responsible for leading the café team when the café manager is offsite.

You will be responsible for ensuring good customer service is delivered by all staff.

You will be able to lead, delegate and take direction.

You will be able to train others, to ensure that food is of a consistently high standard.

REQUIREMENTS
At least one years experience in a catering role.
Awareness of food costing and budgets.
The ability to think on your feet and be creative.
A passion and love for food.
