Legal disputes team looking for a Legal Executive or Paralegal with a minimum of 1-2 years experience of dealing with legal disputes (not including Family or Injury Claims litigation). Ideally, this experience should include dealing with contract disputes for businesses and/or individuals, consumer disputes and debt recovery work.

Candidates should:
- Have a thorough understanding of the progress of a claim through the court's small claims track or fast track
- Be confident in drafting statements of case to include Claim Form, Particulars of Claim and a simple Defence
- Be confident to draft witness statements
- Ideally, but not essentially, have experience of advocacy at a small claims hearing and/or interim procedural hearings
- Be confident in dealing with telephone enquiries in respect of debt recovery work.

Candidates are likely to have a law degree and LPC or alternatively, have completed some or all of the ILEX modules towards a Legal Executive qualification.

Please note that LPC candidates would have the opportunity to progress to a training contract after 12 months in the role.

Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade C or above to include Maths and English.
