My name is Sam and I am an easy going friendly young guy who has a passion for music and a love for the drums! I have been playing for 5 years now and my experience ranges from performing at festivals in theatrical comedy rock bands to sell out performances at the Exeter Phoenix arts centre. From 2006 to 2008 I enrolled on a BTEC National Diploma in Jazz. During my course I also ran a Jazz/Blues jam night with a guitarist and a keyboard player In the Angel bar. I have played in numerous bands, The Rhythm Doctors, Bokazeika, The Sneakers, The Courgettes and Fizzy Fish just to name a few. I have experience on the stage and off the stage. I have performed many times on the street from small food festivals to the great music festivals such as Glastonbury. This experience has taught me how to deal with all types of situations and people.

Areas of tuition include:
- Basic Technique, Rudiments, Grips
- Wide Range of beats and genres of music
- General Solo skills and musicianship when playing with others
- Performance skills if desired

I am offering a good level of skill and experience as a drummer to teach beginners and anyone who is unsure of their skills if they need confidence or performance skills. I can travel to anywhere within the surrounding areas of the city centre (if further afield, I'm sure we can work something out). Obviously I would require you to have a drum kit set up in your home for me to teach you in your house. If not, we can discuss alternatives, such as you visiting my home and using my drum kit.

Prices:
- £15 for 1 hour
- £10 for 1/2 hour

The most important thing for me is to keep music fun and enjoyable. So, lessons can be tailored to run in the manner you require.
