Psychology and Sociology
A North Somerset FE institution is looking to appoint an exceptional teacher of Psychology and Sociology to join them from September 2008.
They are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and ambitious colleague to join a successful team of teachers in the Psychology and Sociology faculty. The post would suit either an NQT or experienced teacher who is committed to helping young people achieve. Specific teaching responsibilities will be discussed at interview.
We are looking for somebody who can bring with them ideas, energy and enthusiasm and who has a commitment to raising attainment. The post offers the opportunity to teach Psychology and Sociology and to contribute to the thriving extra curricular programme of the college.
You must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with UK teaching experience. This will allow you to deliver the National Curriculum and be properly equipped to deal with classroom management. You will be committed to raising standards and have good organisational and interpersonal skills. Energy, ambition and enthusiasm are a must!
