Senior PandC Risk Control Surveyor - Commercial Jobs are available in a number of our Council / Local Authority clients particularly in Bristol.

Job Description:
Dealing with Property and Casualty Risks
New Business, Routine and Loss Risk Surveys
Carrying out surveys across the South West and producing appropriate technical reports;
Deal with technical referrals from Underwriters;
Provide Insured`s with value-added risk management advice;

Area:
The area covered will be Bournemouth, Bath, Swindon, Reading and Bristol

Additional Duties:
Assist the Survey Operations Manager in induction and training for new and existing staff;
Assist the Survey Operations Manager and Technical Team in undertaking technical audits;
Develop and maintain a good liaison and understanding with Underwriters within the region.
Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior surveyors and underwriting staff;
Assist in the development and delivery of technical training;

Experience required:
Good technical knowledge and understanding of trade hazards in relation to Property and Casualty risk;
Proven experience of surveying small to medium risks and the negotiation of risk improvements;
Experience in working closely with Insured`s, Underwriters and Brokers;
Presenting technical information within formal and informal forum

Qualifications/Attributes:
ACII or progressing towards
NEBOSH Certificate
Surveying or Risk Management Qualification/Membership - not essential
Customer focus;
Ability to prioritise own workload;
Self motivated;
Good oral and written communication skills;
Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
