The Company:

Our Client is a multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy, delivering both small and large-scale projects globally. In the environmental section the Company offers a range of skills in assessment, auditing, conservation and overall planning and management.

The Role:

The Company has extensive experience in dealing with a full range of controlled wastes including municipal, commercial and industrial solid wastes as well as special and hazardous wastes. The main duties are to co-ordinate and develop the waste engineering team (includes landfill, treatment and all engineering issues) into a fully functioning UK business stream. You will assist in bidding, marketing and projects in relation to all waste service delivery plans. Your role will also be to support existing projects and client sectors in order to provide additional revenues and build the reputation of the Company.

The Person:

The right candidate must be educated to degree or equivalent level in an engineering related discipline, have extensive experience in the operation of wastewater networks, have an operational background with appropriate experience and knowledge gained by working for a water distribution company or infrastructure provider.
Chartered Member of CIWM/Contractor experience or Consultancy experience would be an advantage.

· Good team and man management skills, being able to drive team and individuals to achieve business deadlines in a challenging environment
· Excellent client management skills
· Must be familiar with the operation of computer software packages and be able to apply themselves to detailed procedures
· You must be highly organised, efficient, enthusiastic and personable.
