Part Time Switchboard Operator
Location: Bristol
Salary: £14,500 - £15,500 Pro Rata
Looking to recruit an experienced Part Time Switchboard Operator ASAP to respond to both external and internal telephone calls quickly, efficiently and professionally alongside providing effective administrative support, as required, to the Facilities team.
Main Duties:
* To maintain cover of the switchboard between the hours of 2pm – 7pm.
* To answer all calls promptly and in a professional manner.
* To keep the switchboard index up-to-date.
* To process travel and courier bookings.
* To assist with Business Development mailings.
* To cover Reception as required.
* To assist other members of the Facilities team as appropriate, and to undertake other administrative duties as may be required.
* To take responsibility for Health & Safety at work of yourself and others.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Experience of working on a busy switchboard in a professional environment.
* Excellent client care skills with the ability to deal with clients and employees both on the telephone and face to face.
* Ability to work to, and deliver, a service encompassing the firms core brand values.
* Excellent communication skills with a confident manner, being polite and friendly at all times.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
* IT skills with knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.
* To be familiar and knowledgeable about the business and people of the firm.
* To demonstrate a continuing desire to acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes required to support a firm offering a professional service.
