Business Support Consultant
Our client provides high quality financial software and services to many UK
organisations. Their staff are experienced, highly motivated and professional, and
the company aim is to provide an exceptional service to customers.
This role sits within the Support (Help Desk) area of the business and offers an
interesting and varied role to people who enjoy dealing with customers, helping
them use our software, answering their queries, diagnosing problems and logging
software faults ready for our developers to fix them.
The role will include;
- Answering incoming calls from our customers across the UK
- Providing customers with solutions to simple "How Do I ?" queries
- Keeping in touch with our extended support customers on a regular basis to
check that all is well with their systems
- Assisting with product release and software testing every 6 months (approx)
- Logging customer queries and calling them to report back on progress
- Helping to improve our knowledge base systems
- Helping to add to our "Support Advice Notes" library for quick solutions to
common queries
- Helping to maintain the customer area of our website
Successful candidates will have experience of either support of business
applications or onsite consultancy related to business applications. You may also
be conversant with accountancy principles although this is not an essential
qualification for the right candidate.
