Hays Education is currently looking for an experienced Nursery Nurse to work within a children centre environment, working full time 10 – 6 Monday to Friday, working with children aged 0 – 11.

Ideal candidate will have a proven experience in working in a school or after school environment and good organisational skills.

Main Duties Include:
· Running and organising activities for the after school club
· Planning and preparation
· Helping out with the parent and toddlers group
· To assist the nursery team in providing a friendly, caring and relaxing environment in order to encourage and develop children in care
· To ensure all daily routines are carried out and records kept up to date
· To ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to and implemented into the nursery


Relevant Experience
· Relevant skills/experience within a classroom or similar educational environment
· Specific experience with Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils is advantageous
· Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualifications is also beneficial but all candidates with experience will be considered.
· Cache Level 2 or 3
· Good communication skills and a flexible attitude
