When my days are longer and my energy has waned and my retirement is in full swing, I won't want to spend my last days alone. I am sure there are many who feel the same so even though it is later than most, to make friends, why not write and exchange ideas on how to combat loneliness. When one is slightly disabled and not able to get out and about easily, life can be lonely......
