Hays Social Care have been asked to recruit a Head of Service for a 6 month temporary position on behalf of a non-departmental public body, providing critical services to children going through the Family Courts.
The role will involve leading and delivering operations in a specific geographical or functional area, managing a dedicated team, driving up performance and practice standards and maximizing resources.
Candidates will have a GSCC recognised social work qualification and have post qualification experience in a social work setting, experience of managing staff, services and budgets and be competent in aspects of public law, private law and adoption legislation, regulations, guidance and practice.
You will be an inspirational leader with a strong track record of delivering excellence in practice and performance. You will also know how to influence and engage with partners and stakeholders at all levels.
