We are a dynamic & rapidly growing young business providing Health & Safety Training to clients all over the UK. We specialise in Asbestos Health & Safety but are currently undergoing expansion to cover a wider range of courses. We are based in Bedminster, Bristol.
We require a committed, ambitious person who can grow with us and take the business to its next level. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to be involved in developing the business from something good, to something exceptional.
The role is a full-time position as a skilled Office Administrator/PA working alongside our busy MD. We are looking for someone who can handle these day-to-day administration responsibilities competently, whilst also thinking creatively and contributing to the development & progression of the business.
Responsibilities include:
· Responding to both telephone & email enquiries, providing course information & quotes
· Coordinating the training calendar and MD’s diary
· Managing bookings & invoicing
· Maintaining accounts & client records
· Overseeing courses held at our own premises
· Issuing of training certificates
· Designing & implementing marketing initiatives (no telesales)
· Developing & expanding business resources & materials (e.g. course brochures)
· Keeping the website up-to-date
· Producing & taking on new business development ideas, researching, evaluating & implementing them successfully
We are looking for a committed, trust-worthy candidate who has:
· Ambition for a long-term opportunity with the potential to really make a difference to our business & ultimately progress their career towards management
· A good degree-level education & previous admin experience (excellent PC/Web Literacy and demonstrable client interaction skills are essential)
· Good written & spoken English with a confident, warm telephone manner
· Good numeracy skills (experience of book-keeping using programmes such as Sage is desirable)
· A methodical way of thinking, outstanding organisational skills and the ability to work well using their own initiative
· Exceptional accuracy & attention to detail
· The ability to cope with an intensive training period, taking in a wealth of information as quickly as possible
Employment will initially be by short-term contract, with an ongoing permanent contract dependant on a performance review. We are offering a starting salary of £17-20K with performance related raises and an additional potential for bonuses to reward outstanding results.
