Nursery Nurse
The privately owned setting provides care and education for children aged 6 months - 5 years in accordance with the Montessori Teaching Principles.
Although the Nursery follows the educational philosophy of Maria Montessori, the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is also used and the successful candidate will have at least an understanding of both.
You will be helping to plan activities and will be given the responsibility of having key children you will have to monitor and assess.
The successful candidate must have the following-
- Previous childcare experience working in a day care setting
- A willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to build effective relationships with all children
- Be enthusiastic and motivated
- A good theoretical and working knowledge of the EYFS
- Committed to maintaining high standards in childcare
