A unique and challenging Project and Logistics Manager role for an experienced Rope Access professional at Supervisor / Site Manager / Project Manager level within the construction sector.

Growing career opportunities within this market leading specialist building structures manufacturer / installer. Their strong workload includes landmark building / construction projects (including Olympics related).

The Role:
In this office based role you will co-ordinate the installation department to ensure smooth running of operational aspects, project manage rope access jobs, and maintain the professional standards clients have come to expect on site.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong organisational skills and resourcefulness, strong team working skills and an ability to achieve results through earned credibility and respect and taking ownership. There is a relaxed yet highly professional and supportive team ethos and non hierarchical management structure. It is essential that you can thrive in this type of work environment.

Suitable backgrounds may include: rigging cable structures, steel erecting, masts and towers, construction, possibly military engineering / logistics.


Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning and management of site resources and allocation of labour
Liaison between project management and installation staff
Management of Health and Safety / QA / Training and Certification
Overall responsibility for site kit and tooling
Checking/documenting in house lifting and rope access equipment.
Transport and logistics management
Sign off sub contractors Invoices
Provide occasional cover for site, where required.

Essential: IRATA Level 3 rope access trained
Ideally: certification for: CSCS, IOSH, SMSTS
Desirable: Construction industry experience, Appointed Person for Cranes, other rigging qualifications

Salary can increase with responsibilities as the role and workloads grow
