Customer Service Advisor – eGroup Payment Team

Salary: £12,000 to £14,000 Basic per annum, plus up to £100 per month in bonus

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours between the hours of 8.00 am and 8.00 pm on a rota basis, (plus up to 1 in 3 Saturdays with a day off in lieu)

The Location
Great North Bristol rural location over looking the Severn Estuary. Based in a modern, friendly, open plan office complex, less than 20 minutes from Bristol City Centre, 10 minutes from Thornbury and 5 minutes from Aztec West. Good motorway links avoiding Bristol’s notorious traffic black spots. Easy access from South Wales via Chepstow and the M48 and easy access from South Gloucester via the A38.

The Job
To ensure that payments and insurance policy premiums are collected, applied or refunded in a timely and efficient manner. To deal with policy cancellations.

The Main Duties
Successful applicants will be contacting customers regarding standing orders, debit and credit card payments, liaising with other insurance companies and customers regarding no claims bonus information. A major part of the role is processing policy cancellations and issuing refunds as well as investigating fraudulent payment cases.

The Person
Excellent telephone manner and positive attitude are vital elements for the role. Must be computer literate. Willing to be flexible, so as to adapt as our company grows and an ability to work well as part of a team. Insurance and Customer Service experience is desirable but not essential, previous experience of working on the telephone would also be an advantageous.
