The Hollies is a privately owned 55 bed nursing home which opened in 2008. We are now recruiting a first class Head Chef with a passion for producing high quality fine cuisine who will manage and lead the catering team.

As Head Chef you will be responsible for:

- Creation of a varied and appetising menu aimed at the individual preferences and specialist dietry needs of our clients.

- Stock control and ordering of supplies to an agreed budget.

- Organisation and motivation of the staff team ensuring that proper training is given.

You should be self-motivated and enthusiastic and possess a current Food Hygiene Certificate (level 2). Ideally you will also have a City & Guilds or similar formal catering qualification.

We are offering a salary of £20K - 23K per annum (depending on experience) plus life insurance, company pension and good holidays. This is a full time position of 40 hours per week
