Hello,

I play in an original neo-soul/funk band whose current line up is drums, bass, keys, guitar and trumpet. Having parted ways with our previous singer we are looking for a vocalist with a soulful style to front our group. Our sound is a blend of neo-soul/jazzy/funky type stuff - basically we aim to make soulful tunes with a groove. We've got a fair amount of original material, but are definitely keen on coming up with new ideas.

We've supported Killa Kela, King Blues, A.I.M., The Volt, The Anomalies, The Blims, Lee 'Scratch' Perry. Played various venues in Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Bath. Inspiration-wise we dig everything from Jill Scott, D'Angelo, Jamiroquai (before they were awful), The Roots, Gil Scott Heron, Lazy Habits, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Ozomatli, Cat Empire, anything with brass and groovy hooks.

We are based in Cardiff, but our previous singer was from Bristol so travelling for practises wouldn't be too much of a problem. We are quite serious about trying to get somewhere, so we need someone who can practise and gig regularly.
