Clinical Co-ordinator
The Company:
Due to continued business growth, BCWA are looking to recruit a team of Clinical Co-Ordinator’s to work within their Customer Services Department, based in the centre of Bristol. Part of the Simplyhealth group, they are dedicated to helping more people feel better.
The Position & Responsibilities
The purpose of this role will be to enhance the delivery of the claims service by providing case-specific clinical guidance to customers and colleagues, together with more general medical advice and training.
Key responsibilities will include:
Provide expert medical support and advice for the handling of claims to the highest level of technical competence while adhering to Best Practice for all aspects of technical claims handling.
Adhering to the quality standards set down by Senior Management and feeding back any issues, which may contribute to the development of such standards.
Acting as a referral point, providing guidance and support to staff, customers and service providers.
Undertaking liaison with medical professionals and service providers as required in the course of claims handling, highlighting issues or areas of concern relating to providers or individual cases to your line manager.
Assisting the cost-effective acquisition and management of external suppliers by staying abreast of medical/surgical developments, auditing invoices and providing information to your line manager and procurement personnel.
The Person:
It will be your friendly and personable approach that will enable you to build great rapport with every member and deliver an exceptional level of customer service. You will be qualified to RGN level I status and have a minimum of 5 years post registration experience.
You will be expected to have excellent communication skills, an ability to empathise with customers while helping with sensitive situations and experience within a customer services environment ideally call handling in an advisory capacity.

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000
