As a Leader in Industrial Recruitment we are currently recruiting for a full time Resident Caretaker for our client based in Bristol.

As a Caretaker you will assist with the maintenance and Security of a School in central Bristol.
Caretaker’s duties include carrying out security procesdures for school buildings and grounds. opening and closing of school premises, including gates, doors, windows, fire exits etc. Liasising with the emergency services including calling out as required. Reporting acts of theft or vandalism to the principal and/or police as necessary. General manual handling and furniture moving. Internal Maintenance such as inspecting electrical fittings, replace lamps and domestic fuses etc. External maintenance such as maintaining cleanliness and general tidiness of all external hard areas, emplty litter bins, clean and clear drains, gullies and gutters etc.

The Ideal candidate will have previous experience within a simular role and working within a school environment, will be self motivated, think for themselves, shows initiative, will need little supervision. Experience in DIY/Practical skills is essential. Due to the nature of the environment we will carry out a CRB check on the successfull candidate.

This position is a Temporary to Permanent role for the right candidate and is also offered with a furnished flat on the premises as the client is looking for a resident caretaker.

Pay Rate: £8.00-8.50 per hour
