Assistant Office Manager

Our Client, based in Clifton is currently looking for an Assistant Office Manager.

The main purpose of the role is:

• To aid and support the office Manager in the efficient, practical running of the unit so that all office activities are correctly dealt with and on time
• To assist in the recruitment, supervision and training of staff and to encourage and assist in their development
• To deputise for and to carry out any and all essential tasks in the absence of the office manager.

Key skills:

• High level of numeracy, accuracy and initiative
• Knowledge of systems and procedures including experience of Sage and Payroll
• Ability to self-motivate and self-organise
• Planning, Communication and delegation skills
• Proficient in time management and prioritising
• Ability to interview, appraise, train and develop staff
• Ability to accept responsibility

You will be a Key Holder (as requires and after appropriate length of service)
You will be in charge of Interviewing and the selection of staff.
You will be expected to attend managers meeting as necessary

The hours of work will be 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
The salary will be £16,000. This is a Permanent Position.
