Customer Service Technical department
Working as part of a busy team responding to customer telephone enquiries regarding products,
installation and spare parts-related issues for my Clients range of bathroom products.
- Liaising with customers, installers and end users over customer or technical issues
- Liaising with Company fitters and quality managers regarding site visits
- Maintaining and updating technical information sheets for use internally and for distribution to customers
- Promptly responding to and logging customer correspondence via post, e-mail or fax
- Logging and managing escalated customer issues on to IFS database and following to completion
- Completing and maintaining accurate customer records
- Supporting internal departments and operating companies on customer and product related issues
- Hours of work 37.5 between 8.45 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday with a total break of 1 hour per day
The successful candidate to possess the following skills and experience:
- An understanding professionally or privately gained of the plumbing/bathroom installation trade
- A competent DIYer
- Experience in a customer facing or customer service environment
- Professional, confident and courteous telephone manner
- Ability to remain calm and polite under pressure
- Ability to work independently whilst supporting the team performance and results
- High level of self-motivation, resilience and determination
- Positive, can-do approach to resolving customer problems
- Resilient manner capable of handling pressurised environment
- Competent IT skills including Word and Excel to enable simultaneous use of the telephone and PC, although specific software training will be provided
