Working within a team, you are the Club’s Child Care specialist, where the role involves:
• Constantly and pro-actively Interacting with members and children, in order to create a professional relationship
• Recognising each child as an individual and ensuring the children are the primary focus
• Being aware equal opportunity’s and ensuring this is shown within the setting
• Delivering a quality service with stimulating activities appropriate to the age and stage of the children
• Understanding the rules set out by Ofsted and following the Early years foundation stage
• Maintaining Club Standards – cleanliness, safety checks
• Helping deliver Kids Programme
• Working as a team to ensure the best care is given to each child
• Being aware of our Policies and Procedures and adhering to them at all times
• Keeping up to date with recent publications and knowledge surrounding children
We are looking for an experienced Children’s Assistant professional with 1st class Customer Care and Communication Skills and an out-going Personality. You must also be well organised with good time management skills and be Passionate working with children. Being a confident individual is essential along with having knowledge within the Child Care sector. You must hold a minimum Level II Qualification in Child Care or Play work, but preferably Level III, with a minimum of 1 year’s experience working with children. Safeguarding and Paediatric training would be an advantage. A full CRB check will be completed. A full Induction and on-going training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-flying Children’s Assistant at a quality Club.
