Hi, i am holding a birthday beach/tropical/hawaiian party at Hanham Community/folk centre, High Street, Hanham and i would like to give an amatuer steel band the chance to perform without any pressure, so they can gain experience of crowds and maybe promote themselves and do a bit of networking. The party is on Friday 14th August 2009 from 7pm til midnight. If anyone wants to turn up for an hour or 2 and play at 7pm til 9pm then please contact me. I already have the band 'The Whirlwinds' performing from 9:30pm.

I have paid the professionals 'rainbow steel band' before to play at a major event but this time i think a bit of work experience for younger people would be fantastic and it is the credit crunch, people like to try before they buy or in this case 'see before you book'.

You will be allowed to eat and drink for free and i am sure you will be getting lots of donations aswell as one from us, so please bring your bucket with a printed label 'DONATIONS GLADLY RECEIVED - THANKYOU'
