My client, a successful company with a prestigious reputation requires a test manager to ensure that testing is carried out to the standards defined in the SDLC and UKIT Testing Strategy and to that it complies with Audit and Regulatory standards.
The prospective candidate will be expected to manage all aspects of test activities and deliverables for a Release or Project, create and implement the Release/Project Test Approach, plan execute and manage IST and/or UAT testing phase as required.
Responsibilities also include managing reports for test schedules and metrics, inputs to Release/Project approval and sign off for all test activity and documentation, and all third party test documentation
The role will also entail controlling the fault and change process whilst managing the of testing risks and issues on Project/Release. Performing line management duties as required is essential (carrying out performance and objectives reviews) and ensuring all test activities within the Project/Release adhere to organisational standards.
To be successful you must have previously worked as a test analyst, are Prince II or ISEB certified, possess a good knowledge of a wide range of common office software and have a detailed understanding of relevant test/ project management tools, techniques & lifecycles
