Job description:

The Head Sommelier will be required to do the following responsibilities:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager selection of the wine list
- Train and educate restaurant staff on wine knowledge
- Work on the floor with guests, ensuring a good match of wine and food for their dine.
- Control of wine and beverage stock.
- Initiate a passion in wine for all those in the restaurant, and have a genuine, infectious personal passion for wine.

Required experience:
As the next Head Sommelier, you will have the have the following experience:
- Extensive international wine knowledge
- Passion for wine and the restaurant industry
- Experience in top venue
- independent restaurant or hotel environment
- Ambition to continue to improve in your field.

Salary
The starting salary for this role is in the region of £18000 - 20000 + excellent bonuses
