The Market Place is an independently owned and managed bar and restaurant serving traditional/ modern English food to a very competitive market.
We are looking for a passionate, committed, hard working sous chef to help take charge of the kitchen, maintain and improve upon standards, introduce dishes and keep the kitchen fully compliant with all health and safety requirements.
This is a very hands on position for someone who really cares about food. The kitchen is extremely small and currently manned by three people. We serve food from 12pm till 10pm everyday and are looking to develop a breakfast trade in the near future so please do not apply if you are looking for a nice little nine to five number.
We are a small ambitious company looking to take on likeminded people to help grow a business thus a salary will be negotiable depending upon experience for the right person.
