We are looking for a web designer to join a small but exciting project on a part-time basis. The candidate can be a postgraduate student, ideally in computer science, web or e-commerce technologies, or someone with web design/development experience. The candidate may be allowed to take the project as part of his/her course dissertation, but should be available for the next 12 months.
You will have good Knowledge of HTML, ASP.Net 2.0 and C# (or VB.Net). Knowledge/interest/experience in "Web 2.0" such as DotNetNuke design styles and development is a distinct advantage as is an ongoing thirst for learning new techniques and styles. Your role will be to design/develop an existing web and to incorporate databases. You will be part of a small & friendly team with each individual specialising in specific areas, and work separately most of the time. Thus, you will need to be self managing and able to work without much supervision and still complete work on time, a can do attitude with a sense of humour is very welcome.
